Samantha Wurtz, the 5’10 SF from Minooka High School and the Lady Raptors, is beginning to get some serious interest from some very good conferences. Recently, Wurtz has received phone calls from schools in the Atlantic 10, Horizon, and MAC conferences.Wurtz has a very busy and important October ahead of her. She is planning on visiting a few Atlantic 10 schools throughout the month of October, and would also like to get onto a couple Horizon and MAC campuses. She will be taking an official visit to St. Bonaventure in the month of October.

Samantha will be participating in the BlueStar Fall College Showcase on October 7th in Waukegan, IL. She will also participate in the MWRR Elite 75 event on October 30th in Bourbonnais, IL.Wurtz is coming off a very solid spring/summer where she made the All Star team in 3 of the 4 USJN events she participated in. She also shot 41% from three point range, totaling 21 three pointers in 4 games at the Rockford Wildcats National Summer Classic.
